Our Lived Experience Insight Series brings together the voices and experiences of people with convictions to explore the challenges, barriers and opportunities that shape life during and after the criminal justice system.

Each report focuses on a different issue,  from housing, employment and healthcare to stigma, rehabilitation and resettlement,  highlighting what people have experienced, what has helped them move forward and where change is still needed.

By combining lived experience with wider evidence and practical recommendations, the series aims to help employers, housing providers, policymakers, criminal justice services, healthcare professionals, charities and communities better understand what meaningful second chances look like in practice.

Most importantly, these reports put the voices of people with convictions at the heart of the conversation.
